Ritesh Deshmukh is an Indian actor, hailing from Latur city in Marathwada, Maharashtra. He is son of Vilasrao Deshmukh, Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Born on December 17, 1978, he completed his education from G. D. Somaya High School and Kamala Raheja School of Architecture in Mumbai. He worked in New York City after graduation while studying acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
He made his debut in 2003 with "Tujhe Meri Kasam" which was an average hit at the box office. He became a known face after the comedy Masti for which established him as an actor. He has mainly taken on comic roles, rather than serious roles. After the release of Masti, he changed his known name 'Ritesh Deshmukh' for numerological reasons.
Of his latest films, he had hits with Bluffmaster and Kya Kool Hain Hum and Malamaal Weekly all of which were comedy roles. He also appeared in the horror film Darna Zaroori Hai.

At Helpers of Jesus, we care for the least, the last and the lost.
It was founded by Sr. Martha Mandal on 29th August 1999 and registered under the name of Sneha Sagar Society on March 31, 2001. Sr. Mandal first started her activities by imparting free education to the children residing in the slums. Gradually she started a Balwadi (education classes for slum children) and a coaching class for empowering women to be economically independent.
Sneha Sagar Society is a trust actively involved in uplifting the marginalized, socially depressed and those living under sub-human conditions in the slums and streets of Mumbai. For the past ten years we have been reaching out to orphans and destitute children by providing them education and all basic needs.
Presently, we have an orphanage on rent at Malwani, Malad West. This space is quite small and it is difficult to accommodate the kids due to a shortage of space. Moreover since it is on rental, we have to move from time to time to different places; which becomes all the more difficult. It is an urgent need at the moment and therefore I approach you. We shall be extremely grateful to you for any assistance rendered to us in helping our orphans secure a permanent home. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss our project and work. I know you are aptly occupied in your daily schedules, however if you could spare sometime to support us with our endeavours it will be great. I would also like to inform you that our trust is registered for the Standard Chartered Marathon in January 2012 and if you would like to extend support for our cause via this medium, it will be of immense help to us too.
